The Hankook SmartLine DL50 is the drive-axle partner to the AL50, specifically optimised for fuel-efficient long-distance operations. It features a unique Centre Zigzag Groove that creates a binding effect between tread blocks, enhancing both traction and rolling resistance performance. The DL50 utilises Self-Regenerating Sipe technology, where new tread features appear as the tyre wears to 40% and 70%, maintaining grip and cooling the tread for a longer lifespan. By reducing internal friction and heat generation, the DL50 helps operators achieve a significantly lower total cost of ownership over millions of motorway miles.
